Today is Dad's birthday. Happy Birthday Dad!

I took too much upon myself this year and had to back off from working on the blogs. Finally, I'm starting to get some breathing room and can work the blogs in again.

Haven't given up on the writing - heavens no! That's a big chunk of what I've had to work to catch up in.

Getting ready to query an agent this month ... THE AGENT I really want ... get a query out to him first - hopefully, he accepts and becomes my agent. If not, back up plan is to send to ten others I have waiting on a list simultaneously and see who bites.

Not too worried. I have good books lined up with good characters. Only consideration I have is the fact that this book was submitted to Tor already two years ago. But the beginning was different, so maybe that helps.

Reviews is another area I'm trying to catch up on now. I have ten books to read and do reviews on - then post those.

In the meantime, I'm preparing ten stories and five poems for markets. I think I'll send them out all at once during the same week. Do my submissions in batches and organize their times around my zine work schedule.

The anthology work is done. Just have to set up links all over the place and start advertising it. It's only posted on the website itself. Needless to say, there are no sales yet.

I'm also going to prepare a poetry anthology for daughter to list and a few small projects for myself ... for listing at lulu.com, that is.
