Nano Finish

Oops! I thought I had updated here. On November 19th, I completed my novella for the Nanowrimo project. Yay to me!

I still have a lot of magazine emails to weed through and some things to write for someone else, but I hope to get some of the editing done this week. At least the light editing for the final Nano count. Then I'll have to do the deeper editing to get it ready for online exposure.

Nanowrimo update

I did fall short Friday, but not due to the count. Went into chat online to work and keep an eye out for friends and found my daughter online. She is due Dec 20, but was having contractions. So, granddaughter trying to make an early appearance distracted me for Friday. She's trying to wait at least two more weeks, according to doc's instructions. And managing it so far.

Still between now and then I've increased my count to 15,000. I'm only 4,800 from where I want to be. I may or may not get that during the rest of the day. I have a few things I must get done for the mag and a landing page tonight also.

The flu is keeping me home again, but not down. Watching what I eat and drinking plenty of liquids to help keep the worse of it at bay.

Nano update

I'm now up to 8777 as of last night. Only a little over 3000 behind at where I want to be. Plus the requirement for today.

Shaking off the illness is tough, but I'm trying. It may cause me to fall a little short on my count for tonight's writing. We shall see...

Nanowrimo

I'm participating in Nanowrimo this year, but have to catch up. Saturday was great - got 3,179 words in. But came down very ill Sunday and was too bad off yesterday to do any. So, now I have to catch up on two days plus keep up on my regular word count goals.

In the midst of catching up on the housework...sigh!
